Construction Photos Of Optima McDowell Mountain – May 2024

Up, Up, And Away!

On May 12th, 2024, we took new photos of construction progress at Optima McDowell Mountain Village. Phase 1 is well under way and contains Building 7220 and 7230. Located in North Scottsdale, the project is moving fast! We can confirm (see below photos) the subterranean parking garage for building 7220 has reached the second level. Additionally, construction on building 7230 has begun! Lastly, a massive retaining wall can be seen. Here at Williams Luxury Homes, as of May 2024, we have 97 individuals registered at OMMV. With hundreds of millions in sales at Optima projects around 'The Valley' going back nearly 20 years, we know the developer VERY WELL. If you're interested in getting on our personal VIP interest list, feel free to contact us using the contact form below. Also, to see the layout of OMMV, check out these new Optima McDowell Mountains renderings and site plan. With that all out of the way? Enjoy the latest photos!

About Optima McDowell Mountain

Optima McDowell Mountain Village is shaping up to be a real game-changer in Scottsdale. Picture this: nearly a thousand apartments and over four hundred swanky condos, all nestled in a cool $1 billion development that sprawls across 22 acres right where Scottsdale Road meets the Loop 101. It's not just a bunch of buildings - it's a whole neighborhood with shops, offices, and places to hang out, all stacked up in six eight-story buildings. But here's the kicker: they're not just throwing up any old buildings. They're going all-in on being green. We're talking about parking that's out of sight, trash that's whisked away underground, and a commercial area that's the size of a small football field. And get this: they're planning to collect rainwater in a big way – the biggest anyone's ever tried in a private residential setting in the U.S., and it's all happening right here in Scottsdale.

Living here means you're doing your bit for the planet without even trying. The place is designed to be water-neutral, which is a fancy way of saying it won't guzzle more water than it gives back, at least for the first decade. Plus, it's in a sweet spot in North Scottsdale with the Loop 101 just a stone's throw away. The developers have thought of everything: loads of green space, trees everywhere you look, places to play golf inside and out, a gym, yoga, places to chill with your dog, and even a rooftop spot to grill some burgers. And the views? They're going to be out of this world, thanks to some clever design work with the rooftop railings. They're even putting in a massive path for walking that hooks up with Scottsdale's bike plan. Kids get their own play areas, and everyone gets to soak up those McDowell Mountain views.

The heart of the village will have this cool amphitheater and a fountain, and it's all open and airy. With all the shops and cafes, plus office space and a fancy spa, it's going to be a hotspot for locals and visitors. Now, about the homes. They're going to have something for everyone, from cozy studios to three-bedroom pads, and they're not skimping on space, either. The top floors are going to be something else, with penthouses that'll probably have the best views in town. All in all, Optima McDowell Mountain Village is going to be one of the most sought-after addresses in Arizona.

The Location

Located in the 'Scottsdale Road Loop 101 Corridor', OMMV is SURROUNDED by billions worth of growth. From semiconductor company ASM building its new headquarters (next to OMMV) to Mayo's Discovery Oasis (228-acre scientific center) this area attracts young wealth as well as many physicians. Also, just to the north of OMMV is DMB's 120-acre One Scottsdale master plan. To the south? The billion-dollar project known as The Parque was approved in November 2023. The 32-acre site is expected to become a future tech hub known for its sustainability as well as 13 buildings, 1,182 dwelling units, over 1,000 trees, 250,000 square feet of commercial space, and a central park. For retail, dining, and entertainment enthusiasts, Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter are also right in the mix. Did we mention dozens of world-class golf courses are nearby? Lastly, Scottsdale Airpark is just a few miles away. Bottom line? The location and its future potential for future growth are outstanding.
