Summit
Summit By Olson Kundig
Summit by Olson Kundig is the final residential phase of Ascent at The Phoenician, positioned at the base of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale. Designed by internationally recognized architecture firm Olson Kundig, the project includes 63 luxury condominium residences across two distinctive buildings, including a limited collection of signature penthouses. It also represents the firm’s first residential project in Arizona.
The architecture is closely tied to the mountain itself. Arizona stone, deep rooflines, expansive glass, shaded terraces, and carefully framed views create a strong connection between the residences and the surrounding desert. Floor plans range from one-bedroom-plus-den residences to larger three-bedroom-plus-den penthouses, with indoor and outdoor living treated as a central part of the design.

Architecture, Residences, & Amenities
Summit is the most design-focused condominium offering within Ascent. The residences combine Olson Kundig architecture and interiors with high-end materials, substantial outdoor spaces, and direct access to Ascent’s private amenities.
- 63 Residences: Two architecturally distinct buildings contain a limited collection of luxury condos and signature penthouses.
- Penthouses: Select top-floor residences offer larger floor plans, expansive terraces, dramatic glass walls, and broad Camelback Mountain and Valley views.
- Olson Kundig Design: Architecture and interiors were conceived together, with materials and forms influenced by Camelback Mountain and the Sonoran Desert.
- Indoor & Outdoor Living: Full-height glass, sliding panels, deep overhangs, terraces, outdoor kitchens, and fire features extend living spaces beyond the interiors.
- Kitchens & Finishes: Kitchens pair bulthaup cabinetry with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, quartz surfaces, and integrated contemporary finishes.
- Private Rooftop Terraces: Each Summit building is topped by a private rooftop terrace for residents.
- Mountain Club: Ascent owners have access to the private Mountain Club with a resort-style pool, hot tub, fitness room, movement studio, games room, private dining space, and catering kitchen.
- The Phoenician: Summit sits adjacent to The Phoenician Resort. Homeowners may have the opportunity to participate in a separate optional amenity-access program for select resort privileges.

The Final Phase Of Ascent
Summit completes the residential vision at Ascent at The Phoenician. Its position at the highest portion of the community, combined with the Olson Kundig design, Camelback Mountain setting, and limited number of residences, gives this final phase a very different character from the earlier condominium collections.
Within Summit, luxury condos and penthouses range from more streamlined residences to substantial top-floor homes with large terraces and extensive indoor-outdoor living. The architecture, mountain setting, private amenities, and relationship to The Phoenician place Summit among Scottsdale’s most distinctive new high-end condominium projects.
