Mirabel

Mirabel is a guard-gated golf community set across roughly 713 acres in the high Sonoran Desert of North Scottsdale. At an elevation of about 3,000 feet, the community has a noticeably different setting from lower parts of the Valley, with views toward Pinnacle Peak, Lone Mountain, Black Mountain, the McDowell Mountains, and the Bradshaw Range.

The residential side is intentionally limited, with about 335 homesites spread across rolling desert terrain. Mirabel real estate includes custom homes, larger custom homesites, and the smaller El Corazon neighborhood near the clubhouse. Homesites range from roughly two-thirds of an acre to more than two acres, while many custom residences extend well beyond 4,000 square feet.

Homes, Golf, & Amenities

Mirabel combines custom properties, private golf, and extensive club amenities within its high desert setting.

  • Custom Homes: Mirabel’s custom residences generally range from approx. 3,700 to more than 6,000 square feet, with architecture designed to complement the surrounding desert terrain.
  • Custom Homesites: Homesites vary in size, with mountain, desert, golf course, and city-light settings found throughout the community.
  • El Corazon: This enclave of 35 detached homes sits close to the Desert Lodge Clubhouse, with residences ranging from roughly 3,100 to 3,900 square feet.
  • Mirabel Golf Club: The private, member-owned club centers on an 18-hole, par-71 Tom Fazio-designed course stretching about 7,146 yards from the back tees.
  • Club Membership: Mirabel Club membership is separate from homeownership and subject to the club’s current membership policies.
  • Desert Lodge Clubhouse: The approx. 37,000-square-foot clubhouse includes indoor and outdoor dining, fitness facilities, spa and salon services, and gathering spaces.
  • Tennis, Pickleball, & Fitness: Club amenities include Har-Tru clay tennis courts, pickleball, fitness facilities, group exercise programs, and wellness services.
  • Pool & Spa: Club amenities also include a resort-style pool, cabanas, spa services, and additional outdoor spaces.
  • High Desert Setting: Mirabel sits near the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and Tonto National Forest, putting substantial desert recreation within easy reach.

Life In The High Desert

Mirabel’s elevation, larger homesites, and open desert setting give it a character that feels different from many Scottsdale golf communities farther south. Mountain views appear in multiple directions, natural desert remains an important part of the landscape, and custom architecture is spread across rolling terrain rather than a dense residential plan.

Cave Creek and Carefree are nearby for restaurants, shopping, and everyday services, while Scottsdale Road and Pima Road connect Mirabel with the rest of North Scottsdale. Scottsdale Airport, the Scottsdale Airpark, Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Quarter, and medical services are farther south, giving residents access to major North Scottsdale destinations while preserving Mirabel’s high desert setting.
