Optima McDowell Update For Jan 2025

Happy New Year. Recently, we let our clients know that sales will soon start for condos at OMM. And while this hasn't been announced publicly, it is, in fact, happening soon. The last time we did a photo update detailing the progress of construction of Optima McDowell Mountain was in late October (see at link). 82 days later? We have a new update for you. In the below photos, you will see that the exterior glass is installed on the first building (of six) all the way to the seventh floor (of of eight). You can also clearly see the ramp heading down to subterranean parking! Another thing we thought was exciting is that there are actually road signs now that mention resident parking for tenants and owners at OMM. Also to be seen is how clean the newly paved Mayo Boulevard is in from of the project. Up until now, this road has been a mess. Lastly, you will also see what look like utility access points (holes) and well as possible anchor points and/or lifting inserts.

As a reminder, this is the first luxury apartment building (building 7220). We know that out of the remaining 5 buildings to be built, at least two will be luxury condo buildings. With that said, depending on the real estate market over the next several years, we could see up to three or four of the buildings built as luxury condos. For now, our focus is on sales starting on the first condo building which is 7230 optima McDowell Mountain. The order of the final four buildings to be built is not something we know just yet. There numbers are 7210, 7260, 7250, and 7240.
