McCormick Ranch
McCormick Ranch
McCormick Ranch is one of Scottsdale’s landmark master-planned communities, known for lakes, mature landscaping, golf, greenbelts, and an unusually broad mix of residential neighborhoods. What began as the former McCormick family ranch evolved into a large central Scottsdale community with single-family homes, condos, townhomes, patio homes, waterfront properties, and golf course residences.
The setting is what makes McCormick Ranch feel different. Lakes and tree-lined streets appear throughout the community, while the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt connects parks, multi-use paths, golf, and recreation across this part of Scottsdale. Neighborhoods such as Las Palomas, Paradise Park Trails, Playa Del Sur, The Shores, Santa Fe, and Heritage Village add even more variety.

Dining, Shopping, & Lakefront Living
McCormick Ranch already has restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare, shopping, and everyday conveniences nearby. Now, its waterfront is entering another chapter.
- Lakefront At Scottsdale: The former Forever Corporate Plaza at 7501 E. McCormick Parkway is being redeveloped into a mixed-use waterfront destination with restaurants, boutique retail, wellness uses, and office space.
- McCormick Lake Dining: Four waterfront restaurant spaces are planned as part of Lakefront At Scottsdale, adding a significant new dining component directly along the lake.
- A Project Moving Forward: As of August 2026, Diversified Partners had completed its acquisition of the property, with the redevelopment planned in phases.
- Another Lakefront Restaurant: The former Chart House property on Camelback Lake has also been acquired by Prime Steak Concepts for a new ground-up restaurant.
- Mercado Del Lago: This established lakeside center brings additional restaurants and services into the heart of McCormick Ranch.
- Healthcare: HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center is nearby, along with medical offices throughout the Shea Corridor.
- Central Scottsdale Access: Old Town Scottsdale, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale Road, and Loop 101 are all within the broader area.
- Residential Variety: Condos, townhomes, patio homes, single-family residences, golf course properties, and select waterfront homes give buyers plenty of choices.
The lakefront changes are particularly interesting because they build on something McCormick Ranch already has: water. Rather than creating another conventional shopping center, these projects are bringing restaurants, patios, retail, and gathering spaces directly to the shoreline.

Water, Golf, & Recreation
Water remains one of the defining features of McCormick Ranch. Lakes such as Camelback, Marguerite, Nino, Angela, and Santa Fe create waterfront settings throughout the community, and select properties have authorized boat docks. Boating and catch-and-release fishing are permitted on designated lakes under McCormick Ranch association rules.
McCormick Ranch Golf Club adds 36 holes across the public Palm and Pine courses, both designed by Desmond Muirhead. Beyond golf, the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt provides miles of multi-use paths, parks, lakes, and recreation through central Scottsdale. With its established neighborhoods, waterfront homes, mature landscape, public golf, and a lakefront district now being reimagined, McCormick Ranch continues to evolve without losing what made it distinctive in the first place.
