Gainey Ranch

Gainey Ranch is a guard-gated Scottsdale community known for golf, mature landscaping and a wide range of residential choices. Condos, townhomes, villas and single-family homes are spread among smaller gated neighborhoods, with many properties positioned along fairways, lakes or landscaped greenbelts.

The setting feels noticeably greener than much of Scottsdale. Palm trees, mature shade trees, water features and golf-course views run throughout the community, while the McDowell Mountains rise in the distance. Just outside Gainey Ranch, residents have restaurants, shopping, the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort and many of central Scottsdale’s everyday conveniences close by.

The Details

One of Gainey Ranch’s strengths is variety. Some neighborhoods are built around lower-maintenance condos and townhomes. Others feature larger detached residences and estate-style homes.

  • Condos, Townhomes & Single-Family Homes: Residential options range from lock-and-leave properties to larger homes along the golf course.
  • Distinct Neighborhoods: Communities such as The Estates, The Legend, The Enclave, The Courts, The Oasis, 7400 Gainey Club Drive and 8989 Gainey Center Drive each have their own housing style and setting.
  • Gainey Ranch Golf Club: The private club features 27 holes across three nine-hole layouts—The Lakes, The Dunes and The Arroyo.
  • Golf, Lake & Mountain Views: Many residences overlook fairways, water features or the McDowell Mountains.
  • The Estate Club: Residents have access to a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse with a pool, fitness center, tennis, pickleball, fitness classes and social spaces.
  • Community Amenities: Depending on the neighborhood, additional pools, spas and other amenities may also be available.
  • Central Scottsdale Location: Restaurants, shopping, golf and resort amenities are nearby, with Scottsdale Fashion Square, Old Town and North Scottsdale destinations within convenient reach.

Gainey Ranch has enough variety that two homes inside the community can offer very different experiences. A golf-front estate feels different from a condo near the Estate Club, and that range is part of what has kept the community relevant over the years.

Fine Scottsdale Living

Living at Gainey Ranch puts a surprising amount close to home. The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort sits alongside the community, while dining and shopping are available around Gainey Village and the surrounding Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch Road area. Golf, fitness and recreation are woven directly into the neighborhood.

It also works well for residents who want central Scottsdale rather than a community farther north. Old Town, Scottsdale Fashion Square, the Shea Corridor and Loop 101 are all accessible, yet Gainey Ranch still has its own established identity with mature landscaping, lakes and distinct residential enclaves.
