We’re Adding More Communities And Projects To Our Website!
New Content Coming
In our continued effort to stand out from the crowd (online), we're going to be adding over a dozen community and project pages to WilliamsLuxuryHomes.com. Anyone familiar with our site knows that we've provided hundreds of helpful blog posts over the years. In addition, we recently rebuilt this entire website. From making sure we share our Philosophy to building our in-house artificial intelligence department named WLH AI, we're on a mission. You see, the internet is dying. At least that's what some people think...
Is The Internet Really Dying?
No. Yet due to the rise of spammy content as well as a degradation in the art of content creation, the Dead Internet Theory is interesting to say the least. Are the results really just a bunch of bot-written advertising scams? It seems to be trending that way. Agentic AI models are running entire social media sites and websites. We were browsing Reddit the other day and were hit with an advertisement for a social media site that "is missing the worst part". What was it missing? Other humans! An entire social media site where the only intelligence that you engage with is artificial. When it comes to websites, agentic AI models can whip out hundreds of spammy blogs a day to drive engagement. And while Google and other search engines frown upon such activities, the algorithms still seem to favor spammy new content over well-written old content. Like everyone else, we're hoping this trend stops. And that takes us to our next section...
The Rise Of AI 'Answer Engines'
Believe it or not, AI may be the best way to combat AI. That is why several new ways of searching the internet have emerged. What are they? Google has recently launched AIOs aka AI Overviews. When you search, you'll now notice that sometimes an AI answer will appear at the top of the page (above the results). Where does the AI get its info from? Typically a few pages from the top 10 organic results. Isn't that plagiarism? No. Why? Because the AI uses information from its preferred pages, rewrites it for the user's query, and then cites the sources. This way, if a user wants to go straight to the source, they can. Whether this is a good thing for websites or not is a highly debated topic. What we know is that it does encourage content creators to truly provide helpful content that the large search engines deem 'quotable or trustworthy'. This is much different than Pay Per Click. And it's not just Google creating 'Answer Engines'. Obviously Bing has it, ChatGPT has it with SearchGPT, and the fast-growing search engine Perplexity has it (among others)...
When It Comes To Real Estate Content
When it comes to real estate content, we here at WLH truly care about the 'User Journey'. Let's face it, we all use the internet to find answers or to solve a problem. Who wants to come to a website to find junk? Not us. And not you. And while we will continue to add blogs that help answer top questions as well as provide the latest stats and Arizona real estate news, we definitely are excited to be adding more luxury projects and local communities such as Optima Kierland and DC Ranch. Currently, we are in the process of identifying several more communities in Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Cave Creek, Tempe, Chandler and others to add to our site. We hope you enjoy the fresh content! And if you have any questions about the local real estate market here in The Valley, let us know!
