The experts at Zillow, Houzz, HomeAdvisor and RESA released a list of 2017 home design trends. We’re featuring some of our favorite luxury home design looks, including some of our very own client’s listings that are right on-trend. Take a look below and let us know your thoughts.
Beige is Back
A beige-based neutral color palette creates a warm and welcoming vibe and is a versatile alternative to gray, which can sometimes be a little too dark.
Check Out this Silverleaf Stunner: 18983 N. 99th St. #3674, Scottsdale, AZ 85255
It’s Pantone’s 2017 color of the year and can certainly make a big splash when it comes to home décor, but green isn’t a very universal hue. Instead of painting walls in the shade, work in some actual greenery with lush landscaping or decorative plants.
It’s OK to Be Vain
Vanities are all the rage in bathroom design trend; the more unique the better. Skip the cookie-cutter store-bought vanities and craft a customized piece from a chest of drawers, revamped file cabinet or vintage console.
Make Color Pop
Start with a neutral color palette and then add personality with saturated jewel tones – emerald green and sapphire blue are current designer favorites – in artwork, furniture or decorative pieces.

If you’re looking for a chic alternative to tile surfaces, consider marble. Select shades of white and light gray for countertops, tables, flooring and even accessories like platters or vases.
